| | Scanning without ink installed with Canon PIXMA MP510? Is it possible to scan without having ink installed with the Canon PIXMA MP510? I do not have a black ink cartridge installed. I do not wish I buy a black ink cartridge just to be able to scan. Windows 7 (SP1, x64) shows: "Printer maintenance is in progress. Scan after it is complete. Code : 2,114,0" The printer screen shows "U043" and "The following ink tank cannot be recognized." Pressing and holding the red "cancel" button for 5-10 seconds has not done anything. |
