Dell Dimension 5000 weird noise Fan

    Well... a new layer of thermal paste didn't help so what can I check/do next ?

    I also cleaned the FAN in the pc again.
    Any help please ? :)

    It's also very hard to notice where the sound is coming from I really want this fixed I will (normally) get my new pc in July so I need to use this one till then

    Bump help please, Also I can't monitor my temps as I can't acces the sensors the only thing I can see is the HDD

    I would call Dell and ask for a replcemanet, it should be under warranty and you should not have a CPU at 70C, it will fry itself to toast.

    Did you read my post I bought it in 2005 !! and I can't check my temps I don't have temp sensors that I can read with software/bios
