ok, so I tried the Tablet on another computer with windows Xp, and the problem didn't resolve..
so the problem is not with the OS, it's something interfering with the function of the tablet,
my question is, is there any software or driver that is reported to have compatibility issues with graphic tablets in general?

It does seem like it's starting to be a hardware problem with the tablet. I don't know of any diagnostic for the tablet, itself. At this point, I'd say it's not a software or driver issue. Sorry.

I still think it has got to be a pressure/sensitivity setting that is being overlooked ,The device has supposedly 1024 pressure settings of which I can't see them being incremental but more logarithmical

I have the same problem! And it seems to me, that reinstalling windows is not the appropriate way to solve it!!! Are there anybody in Genius, who can do their work?!
