Drivers for MCE and pinnacle cards that work.

Not sure if anyone is aware of this. But I was having issues with my pinnacle 801e usb card and windows 7. Tearing and skipping, I stumbled upon this page..

Pinnacle PCTV drivers

and downloaded the MCE driver for my card, much to my surprise it works flawlessly and also you can change the decoding quality for the codec with a little app that it also installs.

You download drivers, but do you need to have installed the PCTVcenter program? I thought that you only use the Media Center in Windows 7.

Pinnacle PCTV PCI drivers for Windows 7 64-bit?
Hello, I can't find any working drivers for my PCI TV Tuner. It's a Pinnacle PCTV Rave, I went through pinnaclesys website, nothing that I downloaded works. I don't know the exact model of my card, it's PCI, analog, doesn't have FM receiver. Maybe this helps?

gang this actually has to do with a slightly older generation HP sr2170nx, which has embedded ATI x1100 series vid parts, and has PCI Express x16 graphics slot. when a ati 5450-based card is added into the system, no worky. I'm just wondering if I need to "uninstall" and/or disable the onboard...
