    Bluetooth Issue


    I have an iOgear blue tooth module. I installed an older driver then uninstalled and tried to install the newer driver. Now I get an error message saying a newer version of the software is installed and I can't install the newer driver.

    I have searched the registry for "widcomm" values and have found some, however I can't delete them. How can I get the newer version of the driver software installed?

    Hello Gbsnpir,

    You might see if you may be able to use Device Manager to uninstall both the driver and device as in the tutorial below. Afterwards, disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth module, and see if you may be able to install the new driver.

i'm installing windows 7 on my msi wind wind U135Dx and i've got an issue in enabling my bluetooth, ..it is actually equipped with built in bluetooth device but when i install windows 7 it does not show any sign of bluetooth device..even i had completed already all the drivers in my device...

I have a microsoft keyboard that is bluetooth. It has been working fine however in troubleshooting my wifes compter with it yesterday I had to disconect it from my systme. Now I am not able to reconnect it to my system. Does anyone have any ideas?
