What RAID controller should i use?

I am planning to reinstall Win 7 (after i finnish Skyrim of course ) and i have a predicament. I will install it on a RAID 0 array made of 2 drives. But i am at a loss since i'm not sure which controller would be faster and use less CPU time: the onboard Nvidia raid function or add-on JMB363 card. The Nvidia, as i know is software raid, so it will probably rely on the CPU so while gaming for instance there may be no real gain as the CPU will be busy. The JMB363 is partially hardware raid as far as i know and might give better performance, but i've had stability problems with another JMB card in the past and i also know there is not much driver support from it's manufacturer. The drivers there are very old and generic, Win 7 did not even exist back then, so they are untested except on Vista.
If you were me, what would you do?
