Windows 7 - Print Spooler Failure

| | Print Spooler Failure Hi, I'm on a Toshiba Satellite C655, 64-bit, running Windows 7 Home Premium and I'm current on updates. One day all is well, the next day my print spooler service has died and will not restart. I'm getting "Could not restart...", "Error 1068, the dependency service or group failed to start". I looked at the dependencies - it says HTTP and RPC. HTTP does not expand to anything. Under RPC it says DCOM Service Process Launcher and RPC Endpoint Mapper. I can find no service called HTTP, but I made sure the others were started. I still get the same error when trying to start the spooler. Any sort of help would be much appreciated, - I really need my printers. Thanks - martik1  |
