Windows 7 Professional x64

Hello saif, welcome to Sevenforums

Could it be that both those devices (though I doubt it with the thumb drive) were made specifically for XP and there is a compatability issue?

Allow me to look some things up for you. please Fill out your specs - this tool may help you with that.

Also, type "devices and printers" into the start search and click the first program at the top. Then type "device manager" into the start search and click the first program at the top. In both of those windows, please let me know if you see any exclaimation marks near any of the devices.

So wait when you format it in Windows 7 and restart and it doesn't show up, does it work on XP? Also, how old is said flash drive?
