Memory Stick cannot be formatted

Greetings everyone, hope you are having a lovely day.
Basically a while ago when i was setting this system up i planned on installing windows using a memory stick instead of disk, but half way through the transfer of the ISO we had a power cut, and ever since then i cannot do anything with the memory stick, the computer recognizes it but says it needs to be formatted, then when i try to format it says "Windows was unable to complete the format"
The device details if needed are.
Capacity: 8gb
File System: FAT (I remember it being fat32 before this happened but i cannot change it back to that)
I have tried doing this in all 8 USB ports just to be on the safe side and nothing.
I understand there is a high chance it will never work again, but there is also a high chance i am missing something.
Thank you all for your time, if there is any additional information you need feel free to ask.

Thank you, I tried the solutions on that thread but sadly nothing worked and even though my computer detects it, it does not detect the device name or size so i cannot know, i think it really is dead. After going into CMD and running "Clean all" with this disk selected everything just crashed on me, if i right click the device on My Computer it crashes Explorer

Sorry about that had to do a restart but finally managed to fix it! There was an option on the last page of the thread you posted saying you have to make a new partition, did that and it all works now, thank you very much, will mark as solved
