sorry. but how can we help you find details of a random generic mouse that you don't have any more?

the picture you've provided has no distinguishing features at all - it could be almost any cheap old mouse.

maybe try asking acer? but even then, they may have supplied that computer model with a range of different mice that they had in stock at the time.

you WILL get used to your new mouse.

Been there, done that, with old peripherals that I could no longer find but I was very used to. I was just as obsessive about it. I spent much time trying to get the new ones to mimic the feeling of the old, but just ended up getting used to the new ones instead. Moral of the story, it's better worth your time getting used to the new peripheral than spending time trying to get it to work like the old one.

The mouse can not possibly be 800 dpi because 800 dpi with 100k sens is impossible to controll.

Switching too a wireless mouse might be a thought. I say this because I bought a wireless mouse from this website called Digital Treasures. The mouse features 800 dpi precision, plug-and-play simplicity, 2.4 GHz nano receiver small enough for permanent storage in your computer's USB port, and a sleek, small footprint design with subtle illumination, the wireless Mighty Mini Mouse is the perfect mouse for netbook and notebook computer users. Also it comes in different COLORS! Check it out.
