Did HP tech support have you reinstall the
drivers for your 1050? I have an older Lexmark all in one. When I first connected it to my Windows 7 64-bit computer, several components didn't work. I went to the Lexmark website, locate the 64-bit
drivers and reinstalled. I didn't uninstall the original
drivers. Just installed right over them. I got a prompt that the drivers were already installed and I needed to uninstall to avoid conflicts. I ignored the warning, did the installation and when finished, everything worked. If you try this, create a restore point just in case you have to restore your system.
