My best suggestion would be to go to Newegg and look up the boards you are interested in and spend the time to read the user reviews. That's a big part of how I choose a board as well as other components. It won't be a waste of time.

Also don't look for a mobo manual to be much help beyond locating its connectors. Most I've seen will tell this or that setting will enable/disable something with no explanation of what it does. Ask here if you have questions on anything.

Main - Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-Bit; 2nd - Windows Server 2008 R2

So true. I love the little BIOS hints like:

Gerflibbity Voltage -

Enabled - the Gerflibbity Voltage parameter is enabled
Disabled - the Gerflibbity Voltage parameter is disabled
Auto - the Gerflibbity Voltage parameter is set to Auto

Now if you had some clue as to what in the heck "Gerflibbity Voltage" did, that might help. Or not.

LOL on the Vague BIOS setting trust me I understand.

I will come here for info. This is very helpful.

And Newegg is where I do my shopping. I seldom find a better price. But I price shop everything.
