Logitech M510 Mouse / W7 64bit

Hi guys, I recently purchased a (wireless) M510 mouse to use on my HP P7-1010 Windows 7- 64bit system and installed the Logitech driver. The mouse operates just fine but every few seconds, I hear a beeping sound from my computer and would appreciate help as to what may be causing this and how to stop it?One other thing, when the "beep" occurs, an icon pops-up on the Task Bar that says "USB Device not Recognized...... and when I click on the icon, it references the Logitech mouse. As I indicated, the Logitech Windows 7 driver has been installed

Thank you for your help,
Bob
