External monitor settings reset after sleep mode
Hi, because my laptop screen is cracked, I've been using an external monitor (ViewSonic 1080p LED). However, one issue that always annoyed me is how the display settings would always reset after the laptop enters sleep mode. I've set the display settings to show desktop only on 2 (the external monitor) and to use it as the primary display.
However, upon leaving sleep mode, the desktop inevitably shows up on the laptop screen and I would have to manually switch the settings (well, windows key + p, but I don't want to do that every time). This issue doesn't come up when I restart the laptop, and all my graphics drivers are up-to-date. Is there a way to maintain that the display settings aren't changed when my laptop enters sleep mode? Thanks!
