SATA 6Gbs is only the theoretical data transfer rate. Also that is giga BITS, not giga BYTES per second.

Ya it`s MB/s and Gb/s I get that.B=Bytes b=bits we all know that.

600MB/s is = to 6Gb/s correct ?

I wish! I don't know the right questions, much less the right answers. But, what I do know, is if you break 1000 on AS SSD, you've got a very fast SSD.

Have just found and used the Samsung wizard to optimise and max the performance but I did get different readings for the tow runs not much but am wondering which is probably closer to what it is.

You are in contact with a complete no brainer here so simple is best

Wow, incredible access time and one of the quickest I've seen on an SSD.

No wonder, this is one of the latest top shelf SSDs. I think only the Vector is faster.
