Heres my new Crucial M4. Didn't get as much out of it as I'd hoped but a marked improvement over HDD WD500 @7200 it replaced. Using its twin as second internal/data drive and it seems to be working very nicely.Name:  Capture1-1.PNG

If you can connect the SSD to an Intel SATA port you will see some improvement Scott.

You might be able to get a gift card for the difference. It might not be like an 100% oF the difference, but maybe a percentage of the difference..

My 512GB 840 Pro's price dropped $100 and I got a $50 gift card. It is better than nothing though.

It is worth a try.
