I took out my optical device and replaced it with a caddy. Tossed my older PB22- into it as my second SSD. The pc is blistering now.

Here is an interesting collection of data measuring the top SSDs. The Vector and the 840 pro seem to be top dog. I wonder why they did not include the M4. OCZ Vector SSD Review | StorageReview.com - Storage Reviews
There was certainly a problem with the Plextor. That model may have been defunct. Also they compared 512GB models with 256GB models which is not quite fair. Also a point of interest, OCZ spend 18 months working on the Vector, when the company had fallen on hard times, and came out with a monster product. Definitely one of the top SSD's in terms of performance. The top 3 in my opinion are the 840 Pro from Samsung, the OCZ Vector, and the Corsair Neutron GTX....and the Plextor M5 Pro could be thrown in that mix as well. | | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop
