Windows 7: 7 wont recognize my canon i900d printer

I have 7 RTM running on at my house. It auto found the card readers on the i900d printer but has no idea about the printer itself. I cant seem to find an actuall print driver for it that isnt XP. There is an update for vista available through canon, but when I run it, it does nothing. Only thing I can think of is to delete the device from memory (not sure how) and have the computer rediscover it. Any ideas on how to get the printer to work? Since I installed 7 from scratch, it wont run the XP driver disk that came with the printer....thanks.
