Help me regarding tv tuner

I am using HP pavllion dv6 laptop with Windows 7 home basic. i have bought Intex Gravity usb 2.0 model tv tuner with honestech tvr 2.5 software.it have shown that it is compatible with win 7.I have connected it but i am not able to watch tv,only compsite and svideo clickabe where as fm and tv option are not clickable. No option for AUTO SCANNING or other and nothing is happening with remote also . I have connected it to my laptop through usb cable provided and cable connection to it which is provided in tv tuner box. i have also tried with airtel digital tv setop box which provides RF OUTPUT.Please help me step by step, i am new to computer. please

Welcome to SF. I've been considering a TV tuner card for my desktop but I have zero experience or knowledge in this area. Be patient and with luck someone here will hopefully have some hands on knowledge. Please offer us the exact model number for your device as i see two devices listed at Intex. Of course you have grabbed the latest drivers from the Intex website?
