    RocketFish Bluetooth mouse

I can't seem to get this RocketFish Bluetooth mouse to work....i am currently typing on my apple wireless keyboard using the same rocketfish usb dongle...but the mouse simply won't work. First i tried just using the install wizard and that found it fine but the scroll wheel wouldn't work and also i had no settings for it. So then i installed the official software from the website: Rocketfish - Rocketfish Bluetooth 2.0 EDR Class II Wireless USB Adapter

then once i installed and restarted it automatically found my apple wireless keyboard without me doing anything. So i go to the tray icon and right click (where i usually go to connect my BT devices) but all i get is "Bluetooth device not found" so then i went start>controlpanel>Blluetooth configuration and it just hung for about 15 seconds and came up with "Bluetooth Setup Wizard: Bluetooth device not found. Please verify that your bluetooth device is properly connected and turned on."

If there is anymore information i can provide for you please just ask.

    Thanks

    RocketFish Bluetooth Dongle Mouse Driver

I worked around this issue with the following process:

Go to the "Add Bluetooth Device" window.

Right click the mouse you want to add and select properties.

Under Services tab select the "Drivers for keyboards...etc" checkbox.

    Click OK.

You should see windows 7 installing drivers for this device.

    Close the "Add device window"...

    Mouse should work...

It still does not act quite right when it becomes un-paired but at least it works...

    Thank You!

I just registered to thank you for offering your fix to the Rocketfish Bluetooth mouse issue. My mouse stopped working when I just swapped out the batteries, and it's been two weeks and I couldn't get it to reconnect. Your suggestion of going to properties and selecting the hid drivers worked perfectly. Thank you! I thank you, my kids and wife thank you, you are a great person!

    OsirisTech,

Dittos to what Azzytee said -- I used your fix just now to get my MS mouse working. As a newcomer to Win7, I think I'll be referring to this forum a lot -- many thanks!

    Rocketfish Bluetooth Mouse Disappearing

    Hi everybody,
I like many others am experiencing problems with my rocketfish bluetooth mouse. Up until now it had worked perfectly fine for me on both my desktop and my current laptop computer. Recently the batteries died and since that point the mouse has not worked.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers, letting windows install them automatically and various other things. All of which say they work correctly...except my mouse continues to flash green and not connect.

If i try to add a device it will pick up the mouse instantly, install the software and say the device is now ready to use. However within 30 seconds the bluetooth mouse icon disappears and I'm back to square one.

    Any suggestions are appreciated! :)
