    I'm stuck

    Hi guys I'm newish here
    I've a slight problem
My Sony Vaio laptop cd, DVD player wouldn't work so I had to change the registry files,(which works fine now)
Since then I've lost the use of the onboard mouse and any other mouse I connect.
I've gone into device manager using just the keyboard and over the ps/2 compatible mouse sign I have a yellow triangle
I've tried updating, rolling back and uninstalling the drivers.... All no joy
I've got uniblue power suit but I can't figure a way to get on the registry scanner .im totally stuck

    Any help updating the registry???

I've even tried going into bios to installing another o/s

Have you tried a System Restore to a point in time before this trouble began?
