A brand new i5 intel desktop with hd graphics, 4g ram, win 7 home premium 64 bit.

I have update all the drivers.

I have done several virus scans with avast! internet security + a boot time scan and Superantispyware program found nothing. After several reboots, this still occurs. Updated virus scanners and windows.

    This is killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK after more research it is the deferred procedure process that is running high, according the resource monitor. I have update the drivers already. What gives?

It could be Superfetch prefetching programs into RAM. It does that after sleep. Disable the service temporarily to see if it stops.

Ok I will try that and let you know. I have been researching frantically to stop this process "deferred procedure" for hours now with no luck. Thank you. I will let you know if the problem starts back up again.
