    256G SSD full - 157G "unknown"

Sony Vaio twin 128G SSDs. All of a sudden it's full. Ran WinDirStat and it shows 157G as "unknown File."

Called Sony help, they said it was a software problem. Called MS help, paid them $99 and they ran tests. Could not figure it out so they refunded he 99 bucks.

    Any ideas???

Welcome to Seven Forums captainminibar. Try the free Space Sniffer and see if it can identify the used space. A Guy

Downloaded, installed and ran SpaceSnifter. Neat program, similar to WinDirStat.

Initially showed 65 gig being used (Win7, Page File, My files). That's about correct.

Read the manual and it says to enter CTL-U for unknown files and up pops 154.4Gb as:

    "Unknown (not yet scanned) space."

    What's next???
