| | Canoscan Lide60 on Windows 7 Has anybody solved the problem with this scanner being unable to run on windows 7? I have downloaded the latest drivers & scangear program from Canon, uninstalled and re-installed the drivers and SG program, I have installed and ran Vuescan and it too gave the same error about being unable to open the Twain Source. | | I think I may have solved my own problem, I usePhotoStudio 5.5 and it is not compatible with Windows 7, I surmise that this is where the Twain problem arises from. |

All the internet searches point back to the same threads of uninstalling the scanner & drivers, then re-installing the drivers first before reconnecting the scanner and installing PhotoStudio 6, we still get the Twain driver & communication error messages.  |
