| | Black horizontal bars on bottom of screen HP G71 with black horizontal bars across the screen (see screenshot). What steps should I take to figure out which piece of hardware requires repair/replacement? I think the LCD cable is messed up or the LCD needs to be replaced, however I'm unsure. Note: screen went totally blank (image 3) when I cranked the brightness up to max Any help to get me started with this repair is sincerely appreciated  Thanks. |
