    Usb device unrecognised

I get this message randomly, even without connecting any USB device.
I started getting this message in December of last year, after that I got my system reinsatalled a few times. In between I had a hard disk replacement also.Earlier I also had the BSOD error saying USB BUG CODE DRIVER. After the replacement of hard disk frequecy BSOD error has greatly reduced, once or twice in a month.Thats ok, my main concern is the USB DEVICE UNRECOGNISED error.I have a USB ddevice (avrisp mkII programmer) which is malfunctioning and I think this could be the cause.

This is what I get upon clicking the error ballon.

    System config:-
Original (OEM) windows 7 professional 32bit( 1 month old)
    On a ACER travelmate 4740 (2yrs od)

It could be the internal connections of your USB ports that may have the problem. They could be loosely inserted because its possible, they got moved by accident when you had a hard drive replacement. If not, it could be a hardware damage, we are not sure. Also consider cleaning the inside of your system and your motherboard. Check if its dusty or if it has loose connections.
