Have you tried lady's advice? Sadly i don't know enough about USB issues to say if its dead or not. My gut feeling is that its not. Please try lady's advice. If that doesn't work do system restore to a previous point before it started happening

    Hey,
The mouse isn't dead, I'm using it on my laptop just fine.

I can't get it to be recognized on the PC, so it's definitely something to do with the USB ports themselves or some related software issue. I tried the software lady suggested but it didn't notice anything about the mouse.

Also if you wouldn't mind please add a picture of device manager.
    1)Press the orb button ,
    2)type in "Device Manager"(see screenshot 1)
3)Once you have device manager open, take a screenshot and upload it.
