The JEDC comes from the ram modules and shows the possible frequencies it can run with the timings. That is on the SPD tab. I don't know why it lists PC3-10700, but most do. The memory tab shows what the ram is actually running at which is the XMP values on the SPD tab.

Ok sweet. So all is in order then?

I always get all OCD with new builds, trying to get everything perfect. Thanks for the reassurance!

The easy way/answer for FX-Vision CPU owners @1866 is on Amazon UK
(Don't know if this works for others without voltage tweaks etc)

Quote:

Look in your Sabertooth 990FX bios and find the button containing a setting called "D.O.C.P." in "advanced" UEFI bios menu.
> "Ai Tweaker"
> "Ai overclock " button > Set it to 'DOCP'

Immediately below a few previously 'hidden' ram settings are now 'revealed'!
> Click on newly revealed 'OC Profile' button
>scroll down the list of Ram Settings and at the bottom you should find
> Profile#0 (with your matching ram Cas settings)
>check they are correct & select this 'profile' and 'load' button (by clicking on the Profile #0 line)

> Save Bios > restart 'puta!

You are finished - no other manual tweaks of any other ram or voltage settings are required! (So remember to load bios defaults before applying the above - if you fiddled previously)

Thank YOU!!!

So I was tinkering around trying to figure out why I couldn't get my ram set to 1866 in my sabertooth bios. I'm kind of a newb to the whole computer thing so I was reading these forums and the answer that the guy above me wrote is as good as gold. Did exactly what he said and then it give you another menu with the correct speed, just watch out because there are two listed with 1866 but the one all the way at the bottom has the correct timings listed(for mine anyways). Any how this is no my place to find solid info on Over Clocking and such. Thank you SO MUCH

I've gone into the BIOS and manually set the speed to 1866, and the system is only showing about half of it as "usable" So the first thing I checked was of course the ram itself. I've reseatted...
