I use a basic DLink Wireless N router. Never had an issue with the router itself.
D-Link Wireless N Router [DIR-615 Wireless N Router]
When I installed Win7 on my wifes PC, it immediately found my PC through the router and asked to configure HomeGroup (for sharing of files and such)

I think Billion Routers are very good I have a Billion 7404 VGPM
& Now days you would always go for a Voip Router
Billion Products for SSL VPN, ADSL Modem/Router, Wireless ADSL Router, Powerline ADSL Router and Adapter, VoIP ADSL Modem/Router, Security Router, Broadband Router, SHDSL Bridge/Router, iBusiness Security, ISDN Product Go to what ever country your from to see what they have for your area
I use a Linksys Wireless router - no problems with it whatsoever.
Added benefit is that Linksys routers all seem to offer port priority so I can also plug my VoIP box into it and assign it a high priority over everything else so that when I get a phone call, it gets more bandwidth than any of my other devices. No need to QoS set up or anything.
I also find that DLINK gear over the last few models has become a bit hit-and-miss. For example, the 2310 "G" routers are a huge miss for them, but the 615 "N" routers are better.
Just my 2c worth... yours may be different.

My Billion has built in Voip Sip standard no need to plug anything in a part from the phone line
D-Link Wireless N Routers - if you're looking at the Gamer Lounge, hold off for a small bit, or make sure you have the A2 revision of the hardware.
