Cursor skipping randomly while playing WoW and SWTOR
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to be posting this in so I apologize if it's not. As the title reads I'm having an issue with my cursor jumping around in WoW and SWTOR; it may happen in other games but I don't really notice.
So, here's a little description of the problem. Lets say I'm using mouse button two to pan the face my character in a different direction, every once in a while the camera will just snap to another position on the screen instantly, usually I will just be facing the exact opposite direction. It doesn't do this very often, but when it does it's very annoying. I've tried updating drivers for my headset, keyboard, and mouse but the same problem persists. I've tried different USB ports and still have the same problem.
Here's a list of my peripherals:
- Razer BlackWidow Ultimate
- Razer Imperator 2012
- Razer Banshee
- Razer Nostormo
The problem originally started happening when I installed the drivers for a Razer Mamba 2012, and I've noticed it with several different brands of mice, both wired and wireless. I'm trying to track down the source of this problem but I'm having no luck.
I've also tweaked several of the mice features pertaining to sensitivity and tracking, in both Windows and the provided software from Razer, but the same problems still exist.
I've ran virus scans in safe mode and nothing shows up, this was done using the latest definition update of Microsoft Security Essentials.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
