I was looking at this cable and I know it doesn't work because the red connector only carries power and no data.

Is there a Y-splitter printer cable that will work? I don't want to buy a print router because my workload does not require one and if a y-splitter doesn't work will this hub work?

Dont see why the Usb too 2 would not work, they would not sell it otherwise. It would be like having a unpowered usb hub anyway.

    Also

    From user on Amazon.

Be aware, the red connector is for power only and will NOT transmit data. Of course, description does NOT tell you that. Scammed again

Yeah, I was aware of that from my initial post. I'm looking for a Y-splitter that will carry both data and power. Wonder if they exist.
