hello, ive got myself new pc, which is: i7 2600k/3x2gb ddr3 1600 8x8x8x24 ocz/be quiet psu 730w/gtx 570/asrock p67 pro3 b3/ blah blah
the thing is, i cant get the ram to work, i checkd every single stick alone and it works, tho it recognizes it with 1066mhz or smt like that.. when i plug second stick pc turns on with black screen (dual channel), once i put together 2 sticks near each other not in dual channel it turnd on and showd 4gb, still 1066.. i tried to change dram voltage in bios to 1.65 or 1.50 from auto w/e it is but didnt help, tried changing different options and max i got was 1 stick working at 1333mhz. i didnt bother puting there 3 sticks cuz im not sure how it wud work, even if it wud work, im planing to buy fourth same for 2x dual channel and then try. also i cant change dram timing in bios manually, its set on auto and when i try to put it on manual and wirte some value (CL 8-8-8-24 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS)) it always gives me minimum like 5, auto is on 7 i think.

I once tried to use four DIMMs that were originally from two triple channel kits (used on an X58 motherboard) on a P67 board. I couldn't get the RAM to run at its rated frequency (DDR3-1600) by any manual settings (timings, voltage).

Maybe you should try a dual channel kit or two. DDR3 is pretty cheap at the moment, at least in the USA.

well, i fixed it. issue: bent pins on cpu socket... actually i made them look even worse with my pencil, but hey, now it recognizes all my ram in dual channel. cant get it to work at 1600 but 1333 tho, CLOSE ENOUGH.
