    What is TCPZ Driver?

What is TCPZ Driver in the Device Manager? I just noticed I have an entry called TCPZ Driver, with one item with it, called TCP Half Open Limited Patcher (TCP-Z). I'd like to know what it is, if it's doing something bad to my computer or not.

I do have VirtualBox installed. Not sure if this is part of it or not.

    Thanks.

    Problem loading page.

Anyway, should I attempt to remove it? Would it be by chance causing my ActiveSync issues? Is it related to VirtualBox?

There's been nothing I've found that indicates TCP-Z is malicious. Actually looks interesting. But I would question whether you need it, because it appears to be an independent, stand alone tool (ie, not bundled with any other program that you may have downloaded) that someone might download to monitor and manipulate a network connection, especially when that someone was having connectivity issues.

Do you remember ever downloading anything like that?

I doubt it has anything to do with your USB ActiveSync issue...

Update: Looks like some malware likes to utilize this tool:
