Possible Hardware Issue?
Alright so right now this problem only happens when playing world of warcraft. After about an hour of two of playing, My computer will freeze completely and all I will see is whatever the screen was displaying just before it froze. I also get a light buzzing noise that comes from the speakers.
I will be forced to restart by holding down the power button. Now when the PC finally shuts off, no matter how long I wait. When I go to power back on, I just get a black screen and nothing will post. Ill then have to shut down again, and then reboot and everything will be normal again for another hour or two of playing.
I don't really play any other graphic intensive games. So I don't know if it's WoW or if its my hardware. This only happens when playing WoW. I've done a bit of searching for the issue on the WoW forums and what not, but I can't find the exact problem I have.
So I guess my question is.....What would cause my computer to freeze, and then not reboot correctly unless I reboot twice?
Also, I use Lavalys Everest to monitor my temps. And my motherboard temp twitches between 57c-60c never any higher or lower. But then I blew a good size house fan directly at my motherboard on full blast and it didn't change the temps. But still gave me a freeze up. My other temps are pretty low so it's ain't them.
I also thought it was my crappy onboard video card which is a 7150. So I went out and got a ATI X800. but still no go.....
Thanks in advance all. I really appreciate everyone that reads this far...hehe.
