Does copy bad ISO work in Safe Mode ??
try Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup as well. so disable all "non microsoft services" and "startup items" temporary.
Does that make any difference?
Working ISO is 2.5gb (only chose it becuase it was quite small so quicker to copy)
Smallest non working ISO is 5.3gb
you could also do
To make it even bigger.Code:copy/b test.iso+test.iso+test.iso large.iso
also you can copy the working ISO to another partition and do the same trick to make it larger. Copy the large file on that partition to some other folder on same partition.
Is the problem partition related?
I used the first one (so ended up about 5.6gb) and it copied fine to another folder on the same hard drive and fine again to the main partition on the other hard drive.
Just attempting to copy the non-working ISO file to a different partition on the second hard drive.
So some ISO files don't copy successfully from C:\folderA to F:\folderB
So at least 1 ISO file does succesfully copy from C:\folderA to F:\folderB
Are you very sure you use SAME folder names for both copy tests?
Failing ISO is smaller than working ISO?
Sure the working ISO copies fine all the time, so it's not a coincidence?
Yeah i put them both in the exact same folders
Failing ISO is 5.6gb and working one is 5.2gb
Im just making a bigger one (about 7.8gb) and going to try that
