    Zalman Z9 plus case fan controller


    I bought the Zalman z9 plus case and my friend helped me hook it up and very thing but I have noticed that the fan contrer does not control the fan speed but it does control the led lights brightness can anyone show me a pic or vid of how to properly set it up?

    It appears that it will control two fans simultaneously. I hope this helps.

    Well...I think your helper inadvertently connected the LED leads to the controller instead of the fan leads.

    Well the fans still light up its just te controller I have to config

    LED fans would naturally be dimmed and speed controlled off a fan controller. Do you hear the fans/fan increasing and decreasing in speed?

    Not really they stay at a constant speed even web the temp Increases is there a way wether I can check if it's at auto or manual mabey my motherboard bios may display this?

    I think I have it set up properly but yet nothing has changed

    These things aren't rocket science. Power side only goes one way and fan plugs only go one way. So if it's not slowing the fan then I would say that the fan controller is bad and I would contact Zalman and they will send out a proper working controller. Now let me say one more thing and that is these controllers have a limited range of I'm guessing here about 600-1000 rpm's. If they are really silent fans then it could be next to impossible to see the difference. I would suggest shining a real bright light at the blades and see if you can notice any change in speed or place your ear as close as you dare and spin the controller. If there are noisier fans in the case like a GPU then it makes this even tougher to hear.
