msi 890fxa-gd70 wont boot HDD led stays always on
Hello good morning or good evening ...
i don't say my specs cos i have them on my signature.. so my problem is like many others with this MB it wont boot suddenly ... i have tired every single thing you can imagine ... re-seat CPU put ram on dim1 , clear cmos with 3 different ways (jump battery button) all cables connected not bents on cpu pins but my case is different than others ...
so here how it goes i noticed when i have my CPU in i dont get the code name FF but the HDD LED stays ALL the time on and sometimes my ram gets really hot and also the phases of the ram blinking after lets say 45sec then ram starts to get really hot ! ! also i cant force shut down or hard reset
when i remove the CPU from it base i got the FF code and blinking hdd led i can do force shut down and reset
So that let me think that prob is my MB or CPU cos if it's i am really in bad position i will stay with out PC for a long time ... !
I got MB out of case on the box that came with ....just the ram and the CPU on
Please try to guide me and help guys since you have more experience than me i can provide you any more if you need bout my problem ...
Thank you in Advance and from my heart for any help thank you !

I'm not understanding. You can't start the computer without a CPU. Maybe you could explain more clearly so I can undertand better. I would also get the manual out and check the front panel connections and all of the wiring to make sure all connections are made and are secure. You may also go to your hard drive manufacturer's web site and download their diagnostic program to make sure the problem is not the hard drive.
