Anyone have a Socket S1 motherboard?
If you do have a Socket S1 board, would you be willing to test a Turion TL-60 processor?
I have a decent HP laptop that won't power up. The fan/heatsink was completely blocked by lint so I'm thinking that perhaps the processor overheated and died. I know that Intel processors self-protect against overheating, but I don't think that the AMD Turions do.
I'm willing to pay for your time and effort.
