There has been no clicking since I reconnected the wires for the SATA and power.

After correcting the errors with SeaTools, the hard drive passes all the tests.

Clicking always, always means it's going to die sometime soon. You do not want to keep using that drive. Wishmaster may have gotten lucky with his best case scenarios; as for myself, I have never had a drive that started clicking live beyond two weeks -- most of them quit after several reboots.

    Better safe than sorry.

I've heard the same noise come from my power supply because it wasn't plugged in all the way. It was a steady clicking that happened every 15 seconds or so.

    Hi,

In that case, just keep monitoring the drive closely and ensure you have backups.

I'll definitely keep an eye on it until I get the money for a new one. I might be able to get one this weekend if I can find a decent priced one. Better safe than sorry. Nothing important on my drive that I haven't already backed up anyways.
