My motherboard has recently packed in, i need an alternative the motherboard in question is:-

I also have a Radeon 5770 graphics card, new power supply, some 2gb ram and a 320 hard drive i would like to preserve and convert all onto a new motherboard, hopefully with good upgrade potential - I think the motherboard is a M-ATX.

any 1 - have any suggestions i would like to keep my hard drive, graphics card and power supply, so a M-ATX mother board that would support these is what i am looking for, i am happy to get more and a newer format of ram.

Unless you plan on getting new ram (your old bard only supports DDR2) and CPU, to keep what you have now (socket 775 CPU and DDR2 ram) you're looking at a socket 775/DDR2 board and they are getting harder to find as they have been discontinued. If that is what you want there is this one,

Here is Newegg's list of socket 775 micro ATX boards:

Roughly half are DDR2 and half DDR3.
You'd have to shop for a UK source for any of them.
But it's tough to recommend socket 775 in this day and age. If you are willing to buy new RAM, you may as well bite the bullet and get a new processor.
Your PSU, graphics card, and hard drive should transfer to a new motherboard and socket--assuming you have a SATA hard drive and a standard PSU.
I agree poss better to get a new processor as well, do you know if the motherboards come with processors i know some do and some don't...
A motherboard will NOT come with a processor unless you are purchasing a "barebones" or complete pre-assembled computer.
You can get a strong motherboard/CPU/RAM combination for $400 to $450 in the US. It would be somewhat higher in the UK.
If your existing PC is built from industry-standard parts, those 3 items are all you should have to replace. You may have to buy another Windows license also if your current PC has an OEM version of Windows.
