dos ram have to be in the blue slots or can i put them into the black

Normally, if you have 2 sticks, you would use one color: blue or black. Not blue AND black.

But that's only a guess since you didn't fill out your system specifications and I have no idea what motherboard you have.

Experiment. It won't hurt anything.

If they don't seem to fit, don't try to force them in.

It would really be helpful if you could supply the manufacturer of your machines Motherboard.
