Strange drive occurs when defrag my partition

Hello everyone.

When i try to defragment a disk with windows build software, strange named partition appears \\?\Volume:{xxxxxx}. Photo below.

System have installed Daemon Tools and 16GB flash drive as ready boost.
The system was installed today. It's fresh.

Should I be worried ?

Thanks in advance !

Which if the drives are your flash drive and your virtual drive?

On a side note, how much memory do you have? If it's more than 1 GB, you can pop out the flash drive and use it for something else. You aren't getting any benefit from ReadyBoost.

6GB DDR3

I read somewhere that files loaded on the flash drive, often used for system, whatever is amount of installed memory, make mor space in ram for other applications like app or games.

Which drive letters from your screenshot are your flash drive and the virtual drive that Daemon Tools creates?

If your system has too little memory, it will normally cache some of the RAM's contents to your hard drive. In those situations, adding a flash drive with faster access times can improve system responsiveness. Through many tests, it has been determined that 1 GB is the line...anything below that, and ReadyBoost can help. Anything above that, and your usefulness for ReadyBoost diminishes greatly as the memory amount goes up. At 6 GB, you have absolutely no reason or need for ReadyBoost at all.
