Need advice on a couple computer parts

So I'm basically rebuilding my computer and I need advice on a couple motherboards and brands on memory.

The two motherboards I'm choosing from are these:

Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

I was also wondering if there's really a difference between memory. I'm choosing between a few brands.

Patriot
ADATA
PNY
Crucial
G.Skill

They're all around the same price. They're DDR3 1600 2x4GB (8GB)

I can link them if I need to if need be.

I vote for Crucial or G Skill RAM.

I've been using g.skill exclusively for a while now and they have never let me down.

I've gotten a couple suggestions on ram, but that's it? I think I decided on the motherboard, but I'd still like more opinions.

try this one

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD4 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

It does not have onboard graphics. Overall its good.

I trust Asus and that is out of my budget.

Gigabyte is every bit the quality of Asus, if not better, so don't discount them. The budget comment is definitely something to consider, though. The memory doesn't matter much, as long as you go with a reputable brand. Crucial would be the best in your list, but the others would be fine as well. Add Patriot to that list and see what their prices are. I'm running nearly exclusively Patriot memory because they've been cheaper than the rest.

I've decided to go with G.Skill and the first motherboard.
