Install of new ram, now error message of"Reboot and select proper ...

    Hi

Just after some possible ideas please

Basically I have an Ooverclocked system , and recently I have upgraded the ram from 6-12gig. All well and good, using the new bios settings provided which focus on the processor and the memory, I can no longer boot into windows, the following EM is provided

"Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device". After some browsing this seems to be related to HDDs not being recognised etc. I have checked the boot up order and it is the same, I Can also boot into Windows on the old profile and it picks up 12gig of memory on the old settings.

I know its a bit vague but i guess my question is, why would this EM be produced when only processor or memory settings were changed?

    Any help is appreciated :

After comparing some settings, it appears when loading with the OC settings the HDD is not being picked up.

Havent changed any settings with regards to the HDD, so not sure why it wont pick up the HDD. Hmm
