Asus n53sv-xe1 atheros network adapter not working.

Sorry if the title of this thread did not provide to much information. I just have so many problems they would not fit into the title...

Lets start from the beginning. So i recently purchased an Asus n53sv-xe1. When i got it, the internet connection was working fine for a couple months.. Until all of a sudden it just stopped working. I had called asus tech support and they led me through dozens of steps that got me no where, that proved useless. I also was told to do a factory reset. Though i would rather not because i have some important data on this pc, that would take alot of time to re-install/download. So what exactly was happening was that when i was connected to the internet on this adapter, it would only "last" for like 10 minutes. Then the adapter would stop working. and sometimes even refuse to show up on the windows 7 network and sharing "network adapters" page. No matter what i tried (re-installing the drivers, reboots, changing some bios settings, virus checks) nothing seemed to work. This is extremely frustrating because i had to purchase an external usb network adapter that is not very fast, and crashes alot too. Also, while connected to the atheros adapter, it seems that the mbps rate is alot slower than alot of the other laptops in my house (3 of them). I also tested the speed while they were all off. It stays at around 65 mbps.

    This is my ipconfig /all:

I would really appreciate any help you could provide. And if it can be done without a factory reset. That would be ideal. Thank you Very Much!
