Sorry to bump my own thread...

So after moving some files and the games I talked about, I got it down more than I thought I would. A 128gb should do me fine. (And that's with extra room)

I also think I'm leaning towards the Crucial M4.

Thank you all, for all the advice!!

You should also get rid of the hiberfile (it is the size of your RAM) and reduce the pagefile to 2GB. With a large RAM that frees up a lot of space.

I have already done both of those moves.

I think I'm all ready for my move to ssd, Now I just got to decide on one and get around to buying it.

Thanks guy/gals for info given to me.....

So I went to order the Crucial M4 today, but before I did I checked my email and found a 24 hour deal ad from Newegg... So now this puppy is on it way ...

Newegg.com - SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC128B/WW 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD):

And I got it for $89.99!!

EDIT: I think I even topped the above deal!

    Quick-Draw Deals: $59.99 Panasonic ES-RF41-Q Wet/Dry Shaver, $89.99 Samsung 128GB SSD:

That was a good deal. Those sold out quickly. Let's hope they are of good quality. In the past they had some fire sales on SSDs that were problematic. But in this case at least the user comments seem to be OK (with a few special exceptions).

According to ATTO, this is what you are getting, and getting it a lot cheaper than me.
