    Windows 7 and mouse

Since I installed Windows 7,most times when I click on a page to go back,I am taken back two pages. If I click on a folder to say move it,it opens. The mouse is set to two clicks not one.In my email they open with one click. This is scary since it could be a virus. Is there any help for this strange behavior?I have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.My mouse is Logitech wireless.Have had it for awhile and never had any problems with it and XP.

So all ONE -click acts as double-click? Attach another mouse .... same issue? Attach this mouse to another machine.... same issue?

    Try what Kaktussoft has suggested.

It sounds like it could be "key bounce".
It might be time for a new mouse.

I've had that happen on a couple of mice (it's very annoying).

Thanks for the quick response. I do have a new mouse ordered, but I thought I would see if there was another reason for the one click opening.Sometimes it works ok but others not so good. If I delete one item in my email I delete two.Hope the new one cures the problem. Thanks again

    Microsoft mouse

Was having trouble with my other wireless mouse, ordered another one,got it yesterday. Microsoft 1000.So far all I can do is surf the net,and read emals.I cannot move more than one picture to a folder,it will not highlight, and I cannot type anything.I checked for drivers but the update is grayed out.The strange thing is,I can hook up the usb cord from the Logitech mouse(the one I am replacing)and it all works fine. This mouse has a small nano receiver.I am using windows 7 ultimate.Any ideas on how to get this mouse to work without the cord?
