Rosewill Ext USB 3 Card reader not reading CF card
I just purchased a Rosewill RDCR-11002 USB 3.0 external card reader. When I plug it into my Win 7 64 bit computer (USB 3.0 slot) it adds all the drives for the different card slots. When I plug in a Sandisk 16GB UDMA 60meg/sec card it hesitates and then asks if it can format the card to make it readable. The same card works fine and can be read on my built in USB 2.0 card reader. A Sandisk Extreme III 8 GB CF card works fine. I've updated my usb 3 drivers to Renesas 2.1.28 without any change. I have a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard. Tech support at Rosewill thinks its a problem with my USB 3 drivers on my motherboard as they sent me a replacement unit and both work the same way.
