I recently bought another set of RAM to extend my system from 6GB to 12GB. However when I checked my system info I got the above title. Below is my system information already reset the CMOS but that didn't work. Also in msconfig max memory is unchecked.

RAM: Corsair XMS3 6GB - 3x2GB DDR3 (2 sets)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R ver 1.0

Can you give us some info on both RAM kits?
Make, model, part numbers?

Can you download CPUZ and post a snip of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs for the two different sets of RAM, New and Old.

For posting the information , enter 'Snipping tool' in the Start button > Search box, hit enter. Select the area you want to post and save to a convenient place.
