Corsair H60 - should i use Turbine Master fans in P/P?
Hello all, Recently I have installed a H60 Liquid cooler into my Rig (I5 2500K CPU, No overclock - yet) and i am not satisfied with the performance on the fan it comes with, now don't misunderstand its a very good cooler and I am happy with it but the fan is a little noisier than i hoped for at full power and to be honest the noise vs heat comparison is not really as good as i expected.
The other fans in my system are Cooler Master Turbine Master (Mach .8) fans and i am very happy with their performance and profile (they are very quiet and nice to look at)
So i want to put two of them on my H60 radiator in push pull configuration but before i do i have a few very basic questions that i am hoping you guys can help with
- Are these fan's appropriate for this (they have an odd half exposed design that may cause air leakage or something - i worry)
- How do i hook the power up as these fans connect to the system fan ports on M/Board or to regular mollusks - can i hook them up the CPU_FAN power output if so how do i hook both up?
- If these are not ideal then there a better fans for the price of £9.54 that i can pick these up for at my local store?
- Where can i get the same screws that the H60 came with for the second fan? they are long and go through the fan and screw into the radiator.
Thank you very much in advance for your help guys :) - also sys spec in forum footer is current
